I know this isn't a lot of information to go on, but I hope someone can help me out. Back in the early 90s when I was in college, my roommate and I walked into a liquor store around where Pennsylvania Ave. meets M Street only to find a bunch of beautiful old radios. Turns out one of the guys who ran the place was a ham by the name of Howard. I ended up buying a lot of stuff from him, including a Hallicrafters SX-73 that he sold to me for a whopping $75! He was always encouraging me to get 'my ticket', and did a lot to help grow my interest in radio. I lost track of him when I moved to Baltimore and the liquor store went out of business. Does anyone know who I am talking about? Any help would be appreciated.
