I have aquired to hand held Motorola HT1250-ls+ radios and I was wondering if anyone here knows where I can have them sent to get reprogrammed they are UHF radios. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not familiar with that radio, but I would think any decent Motorola two-way shop could handle it for you.

Any big M shop will program them. BUT!!!! If you have an S series radio(450-512mhz) it WILL NOT DO THE HAM BANDS no matter how hard you hack it. You have to have a R series (403-470mhz). I have a R series 1250 and it works great! And I am lucky, I have access to a shop that has the software.
NO S series!!
Yes R series!!!
