Amateur radio in Malaysia Reply

Hi all,
I'll most probably be moving to Kuala Lumpur for an extended period of time, and I would like to continue "hamming" from there.

I understand that the Malay government issues reciprocal licenses. Greece is not in their list but since my license is a CEPT Class A license It might work...

I have tried to get in touch with the Kuala Lumpur HAM club but they haven't yet replied to me...

Anyone out there in cyberland have any experiance with Malay licensing ?

Hi Dimetre,
Sorry I can't personally help, but I frequent a forum in Malaysia, where people ask and answer ham related questions.
There are a few licences hams on there every night, and I saw something about licencing and prices yesterday.
Give it a try:

All the best from S E Asia.
