Am new to this forum and to going mobile. Seeking a skilled individual to do a mobile installation in a 2006 VW Jetta in Central New Jersey--or for contact info. Thanks. Steve, W2WX

Why don't you do it yourself? Before you pay someone, visit my web site for some ideas. Make sure you look in the Photo Gallery too.

Many auto stereo and alarm system places can do this just fine, they have the tools and experience and can do a "professional" installation for very little money.

They may not know much about RF, so supervise the antenna installation part of this; but they know all about running the DC cable to a fuse block and the battery, drilling a hole in the firewall for the cable, drilling holes under the dash for the mounting bracket, and stuff like that.

We have a local place here that only charges $40 to do all this stuff, and that's not a bad deal for someone who doesn't already own the tools to do it himself.
