HF mount without holes. Reply

I would like to mount an HF mobile antenna on a 2005 Chevy Impala without drilling any holes in the car. Any suggestions on how to do this?

Probably either a hustler or ham stick.

Visit my web site for ideas. Just remember, any mounting scheme with little or no mass under it (along side doesn't count) will be less efficient than proper mounting, which almost always requires drilling holes.

Without at least a small screw hole you cannot even begin to properly ground it.
