Has anyone used a RS HTX-100 10 meter radio for PSK-32? If so can someone point out how one would hook it up?
Also could the TH-2KAT 2M from Kenwood be used for PSK-32 ?
Really I'm looking forward to trying some long distance contacts on 10-meters down low here in the bottom of the sunspot cycle.

You mean PSK31? Any SSB transceiver can be used for PSK31. FM systems can transmit the PSK31 tones but the signal will still be FM and not PSK. Using FM looses most of the weak signal benefits of PSK.
Try a google search on "psk31" and you'll get lots of info on hooking up rigs. Mainly its a matter of interfacing the audio and PTT to the microphone connector from the sound card and from the speaker to the sound card.

Also, there's very little PSK31 on 2 m FM. What little PSK31 I've heard on 2 has been around 144.280 using the same sort of SSB transmitters as used on HF.

However, 10m PSK31 would be a good mode ... maybe not so popular right now but it would be good for marginal conditions on 10m.

I also have a Realistic HTX-100 ten meter rig and I am currently using a 10 meter dipole antenna installed on my second floor apartment balcony here in denver, Colorado and just hoping that ten meters will soon open up within in the next year or so as solar cycle 24 progresses. I too would like to see about trying out some PSK-31 on ten meters using the HTX-100 rig, but, I would also like to know how to interface the laptop PC with the rig in regard to transmit audio and PTT operation. I have been receiving PSK-31 on the other amateur bands using a Grundig Satellit 800 general coverage receiver and mainly use a program called TrueTTY
to monitor PSK-31, RTTY and other digital HF modes.
Any information that I can get would be helpful. Thanks
