Twice this evening I submitted a classifieds ad, wanting an LDG-Z100, and having a couple of things in trade (a Slinbox & a 320 gig hard drive). A few minutes later, the ad disappears! This happened to me before about a month ago, and I sent an email to the administrator, and never received a response. I just sent an email again. Has anyone had this happen? 73s de W4AS

I am not sure - but it might be due to the Slingbox or some other non-radio thing in your listing.

My ad was to trade two items for AMATEUR GEAR. I'm not complaining, I understand that ads should be related to ham gear; and mine was. However two ads were removed from the system the same day, which is the right of the administrators, however I believe I should have received an email explaining why there were deleted. I then placed the same exact ad again minutes later, but this time, I added a picture. It wasn't deleted, and it's still in there. There is also an ad for someone who is selling a 256 mb stick or ram for $25 (that's not ham gear), but there is a picture in the ad. Please don't consider this message to be hostile; since it's hard to tell if the writer is upset (I'm not); but I believe there might very well be a problem with the system deleting ads at random, or ads that don't have pictures attached; and it might be a good idea for the administrators to check the logs and see why this is happening.

Hey, that happened to me too, twice, and I never received any explanation either, twice. Eventually, I decided, "Who needs it?" and gave up.

Heck that's nothing, I have tried to get my password reset for over two years, without any response. I guess if you don't pay, your not worth the effort!!!!!!! de W5ROY

Roy, I have sent you an email asking for details of your password problem. I do not think I have ever heard from you on this issue - perhaps someone else at eham was dealing with it at some point.
