I don't see what the big deal is--after all the rest of the baloney that finds its way onto the forums. Its a one inch column, and if you weren't looking for it, you probably wouldn't notice it. Anyway, I've got plenty of other reasons not to subscribe to this site--forget a google ad. More political correctness run amok.

I just saw an Obama ad on my left, too. What bugs me are the Google ads that promote illegal amps and non-type-accepted CB radios. You'll often see those on QRZ.com. Sites get money from Google for these ads, so you can't blame 'em. However, if you want the ten meter crap to stop, someone has to take responsibility and stop showing those ads. As far as the Obama and McCain ads, those will be gone in November. 73, Bill - WA8MEA

The current offending ad is: www.Newsmax.com Perhaps the eHam staff will block it.

Well reading this today 8/24 and I see an Obama ad on left bottom corner. Guess they both support ham radio
