Is it imagination, or aren't the new articles going up as fast as they used to? Used to see a new one every couple of days, now it is more like every three to four days.

The one, prior to the current one, was up for 5 days.
Perhaps it has more to do with the writer than the content..

Some was eHam is on life support. Whether or not that that is true - I have no idea.

I do know that the only "staff" I see reply is, George.

Good Lord... Let me try that again

That should read: "Some say eHam is on life support. Whether or not that that is true - I have no idea.

Excuse the mistake

Well who knows....maybe they're trying to screen the articles a little better.

But, I still see the same complaining people coming back again and again who keep saying they are fed up with Eham and they aren't coming back.

What's up with that?

You mean people...like me? <grin>

Hope springs eternal, I guess.

This is a good website. Some of the visitors ain't so cool though.

Whenever the day comes when people post comments as though they were speaking like an adult and with the person face to face, it will become more enjoyable to visit here.

When I was young, I never much liked the mean kids who picked on the kids who were unable to defend themselves, and in like manner when I see someone make an undeserved, unfounded or inappropriate criticism toward someone who has no real recourse, it sorta ticks me off.

No, K5END, he's talking about me. But you are right, I keep hoping that a miracle will occur and this site will start changing back into more like what it used to be.

Funny, but when I read it, the first thing I realized was "the shoe fits."

My original comment was that I would not post until things cleaned up a bit. And I kept that promise. If one looks closely enough, the general attitude in the comments is improving, gradually.

If you compare the usual posts now to those 6 months or a year ago, you can see a difference. One or two bad apples can ruin things.

Sorry for all the cliche's.

Watch out for the Foo birds, and avoid cliche's like the plague-hihi.

The articles have been slowed down a bit - there were not many good ones in the submission pipeline recently so I suggested to the articles manager that he could just slow them down a bit. He likes to post something new every two days.

If you would like to see more or better articles on eHam then please feel free to submit something.

I believe the Eham staff does care.

I'm grateful for Eham, and QRZ, and will continue to support them any way I can. I'm grateful the owners of these sites continue to maintain them, for it would seem to be a thankless task at least sometimes for sure.

It would also seem for every compliment you could pay the staff for their efforts, there are far more complaints.

Still good places anyway. I'm glad they're here.

I have found that the site admins will respond to any "reasonable request". Treat them with respect, and they will treat you with the same respect just as any reasonable person would.
