Two Halve Waves in Phase Antenna Reply

Can anyone give me the formula for calculating the length of a 2 Halve Waves in Phase Antenna? Do you just make it twice the length of a dipole for the same frequency, or is it cut using a specific formula all it's own? I'm thinking about building one for 75 meters.

Twice the length of a dipole is close enough. Has to be
center fed to get the desired pattern. Feedpoint impedance
is very high (thousands of ohms for wire antennas) so
some sort of matching is normally required.

The truth is that the performance won't change significantly
for a +/- 10% difference in length, as long as the antenna
is properly matched. And adjusting the tuner (or other
matching method) will take into account the actual wire
length. So there is nothing critical in getting it
EXACTLY the right length.
