Hello All,
I just bought a IC-V8 Sport, and seen some LCF3 leather cases at a reasonable price. My question is, is the LCF3 and the LCF3G cases essentially the same case?
I know the LCF3 is designated for the IC F3 & F4 family (i.e., T2A etc). And also found that the LCF3G is for the newer more rounded F3G and F4G series, including the V8.
I just wonder if the LCF3 (swivel or clip style) would work for the V8 -- since the dimensions of each of these two families of radios ARE so close in size.
Feel free to respond here or email directly at rpclark(at)ymail.com
Thanks,
Rob K4IXE
