Satellite work on VX-6R Reply
by KC9QQM on October 30, 2009 Mail this to a friend!
Just got my ticket again after a 10 year vacation and got the 6R and would like to try to work some sats. Reading up that I need to cross band xmit/rec between 2m and 70c.

What is the best way to set this on the rig?

73,

Jeff

i set up my vx 7r using commander just set up the HT like you would any other repeater, as this is what a satellite is, it just in outer space. commander makes programming a HT easy, simple and pain free.
