I have a '99 TL and want to remote mount my old Kenwood TM-733 dual bander in it. Has anyone out there mounted a radio in this type of car? Where did you install the head and speaker? I really don't want to leave obvious drill holes everywhere. Any suggestions or comments are welcome. Thanks.

I wouldn't hesitate to drill a hole in a brand new TL if it were mine. Drilling into one 6 models years old is moot.
The underside of the package shelf is a good place, but the trunk does get hot and some rigs do not have cooling fans. Under the seat is good too, but remember to bolt it down solid. Vecro and bungie cords aren't solid. The last thing you want to happen is to have it come loose in an accident.
As for the antenna, right in the middle of the trunk lid is a good place. Larsen and others make a good dual band NMO mounted antenna.
Drill the holes; you won't be sorry!
