Hi there, I have a ft-2800m and im getting reports of being tiny sounding. Someone told me that there is a plastic disk in side the standard mh-48 mikes that can be removed for better audio. Does anyone know about this or maybe some input on what i should do.

Thanks

There is a mod you can do to bring up the deviation:

Luckily, this won't even involve unscrewing a screw!
