Ken Shelton (NI6EE)

May 30, 2002

Ken Shelton, NI6EE, SK

Ken was the quintessential ham. Always experimenting with new gear and modes, tinkering with projects and willing to lend a hand or equipment to get a fellow ham on the air. Ken was very generous with his time, talents and equipment.

More importantly, Ken was a true friend. He was willing to take the time to listen and do whatever he could to help. You could always count on Ken to be there if you needed him.

Most importantly, Ken was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. His first and foremost priority was his relationship with God. Everything he did was done in the light of God's call on his life. He was an ordained minister and served faithfully in his local church for many years.

Ken was also a devoted family man who adored his wife, children and two dogs. His relationships with his wife, family and friends was an example to me and many others.

He will be sorely missed.
