Charlie was my Elmer. I was a 12 year old kid who was interested in Ham Radio, and didn't know anyone. A call to the local FCC office led to my meeting Charlie. He was gratious, generous, and always willing to spend time with a kid just getting started.
Thank you for a wonderful life long Hobby, Charlie. I hope the skip is better where you are now than it was in Minnesota.
