I remember Harold as a cheerful man and always kidding around, enjoying life. Anyone who loves Heathkit equipment as Harold did is a true ham!! Harold had recently gotten saved and was letting God guide his life. God is now by his side, Harold is now in a much better place. Watch over us Harold, we hope to join you when our time comes. 73 old buddy! Bill Wilson WA8YTM

I guess i will always remember Harold as a happy individual, smiling and kidding with people. He would come to the bdarc meetings, come up to me and say "who are you." Harold we love you and one day we will meet again. Bill Bennett N8ZAE President BDARC

I remember meeting Harold on the air back in 1993 as I travelled through Robson on HWY 61 in Fayette Co. I finally got to meet Harold at the Fayetteville Hamfest and had seen him at Dayton Hamfest for the last several years. He was genuine, well liked, and a real friend to many people. I particularly remember the pristine Heathkit radios in his collection. Harold,a fine gentleman will be missed by all who knew him.
