John P. MoDavis ,Sr. (KA2VZX)

KA2VZX was my dad, he was very active, in the Long Island N.Y. area, in the NTS. Dad handled about 4 or 5 different nets a day , and never missed one unless he was in the hospital. When he passed away I was informed by his Ham friends that I could get his callsign , so in June of ' 98 I got my ticket and applied for my vanity call. Now I am KA2VZX , and I hope that Dad is smiling down on me from that big " Shack " in the sky.
