Jack Tyo (N6TYO)

Jack Tyo learned radio theory as a radar technician during WW2. He retired in 1982 as Chairman of the Film School at Syracuse University and moved to Santa Maria, CA. There he joined the Satellite Amateur Radio Club, and eventually became its president. He is survived by his wife Alexina (KB6DUH), son Michael (KA1BK), and 2 daughters.
