Ray is the reason I am in amateur radio. Ray was very active on 2 meter SSB in the N.W. Indiana area. Ray was always ready to help a new ham get started. I gave up my call, WB9AUJ in order to get Ray's call as a rememberence to one of my best friends and mentors.
