Larry Luchi (W7KZE)
December 5th, 1997
Larry was my electronics instructor at the Sno-Isle Skills Center back when I was in Highschool (91-93). He was a great teacher and a person I concidered a friend. Through his class I got my ticket all the way to General class and have enjoyed it ever since. Through out all the time I knew him he had always been in poor health, but I made it my mission to check through the QST Silent Keys every month hoping I'd never see his name. Some how I missed it and just recently discovered he had passed. It was a surprise.

***UPDATE***
After writing about Larry, I got to thinking about a good way to remember and honor his memory. So, after 4 weeks of study and a bit of paperwork, I passed my Extra exam and was able to obtain his callsign.
W7KZE lives again!
