Al Church (W4UHY)

August 5,2003

Al was what I call a real Ham Radio Operator. Been in radio since the 60's and it was always a joy to rag chew with him on the air, oh! The times I was able to be in his shack talking circuits, antennas and rigs. He was a man of Jesus too. I will miss you and know many others will too. 73's old man from your friend Jim WB8YWA.

Al is what I call a "Real Ham Radio Operator", one that could build, fix and design a station that not only worked, but sounded great. I am blessed that I knew him for so many years, dates back into the 60's. That I had so many QSO's with, both on the air and in person. You will be missed by many here on earth. See you in Heaven my friend.
