Dan Cassell (KM5LU)

Dan Cassell, KM5LU, went SK on Saturday September 13th. Dan was a resident of Nacogdoches Texas and was an active member of the Nacogdoches Amateur Radio Club as well as Deep East Texas Skywarn. Dan was always a bright spot in the club and was always willing to pitch in and help with projects and participate in activities. Dan owned and operated his own electronics repair business in Nacogdoches. Survivors include his mother, Mary Ruth Frederick of Nacogdoches; wife, Mary Cassell of Nacogdoches; son, Steven Cassell of Tustin, Calif.; daughter, Deanna Black of Nacogdoches; sisters, Linda Stockton of Palestine and Faye Bailey of Lufkin; and three grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
