My Dad has been a Amateur Radio Operator since 1933 and had been a fan of CW as going thru his log books back to 1933 that has been his main way of contacts! My Dad was one heck of a Ham! WA9JYG Ken Schemmel

My Dad was a Ham since 1933 and had his first station on Tripp Ave in Chicago, Illinois in a basement with a dirt floor! I remember all the years growing up with my Dad and going to the Hamfests with him. He was on the air til his last days and I will never forget him and to honor his memory I am going to get his call sign so he will always be a part of my life and hobby!
