Earvis (E.J) Courvelle (KD5SZN)
February 16, 2004
Sadly on Monday February 16 2004, my neighbor/friend and Elmer passed away at a young age of 55.
EJ was a true HAM, and inspiration to me and many other amateur and future amateur operator world wide.
His very extensive knowledge of everything electronic and RF was astonishing to me.
His sense of humor and cajun flair kept me amused on many QSO evenings as well as EMERGENCY nets run during Hurricane season.
And also I miss his friendship.
EJ went from being an active CB operator to extra class in a period of a few months ( EJ i will miss our Code practise sessions)
I have lost count on how many times you have climbed my roof and tower.
I miss you my dear friend.

I too will miss EJ, he was an Elmer to many including myself. His humor and friendship will be missed by all.
