Walt Lane (W3KGN)

a few years ago

Walt Lane elmered dozens of hams in the Gettysburg, PA area. I was one of them. He gave a lot of himself to others. He lent use of his photo studio to the area youth.... from the 1950's thorugh the 1990's. Many of the youth went on to college and got EE degrees.

I was one of those hams that Walt elmered. My first contact was from his shack using the club call WA3VJI (if memory serves correctly). He was always willing to help and gave much of himself to others.
