Bill Brownell (WT6O)

4/9/04

It is a sad day for the Sacramento ham radio and broadcasting community. Bill Brownell WT6O died this morning in an auto accident on the way back from LA while traveling with his church band and choir. He was a certified member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and was employed at KTXL Fox40, inc. Previously he worked at Pacsat for several years. Bill was also a professional musician prior to going into broadcasting. He would often say how both careers had brought him much enjoyment in life. Bill was a pleasure to work with and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him...

I looked up to Bill as a idle. Aways a plasure to communicate with. I will miss him on the air waves.
