March 20, 2004

Joe was a founding (and lifetime) member of North Hills Radio Club in Sacramento, CA He was 93. Joe had been an active ham all his life. He recently received the QCWA 80 year member award and the NHRC Achievement award. He was truly one of the "old timers" yet Joe was active on HF and VHF with at least 12 rigs. Joe was also active in the Eagles, Carmichael Elks Lodge, and the Radio Amateur Mobile Society. He passed away from complications after a fall at his QTH. 73, Joe I and many others will miss you.
