Tom (he's at K1DG's left in the photo) and I grew up together on the same street in suburban Long Island. We'd
play baseball, ride bicycles and skateboard back in the '70s. Then we skipped
CB and got our Novices. Tom enjoyed
CW DXing. As adults we stayed close.
We were the bestmen at each others' weddings. I'll miss ya "T" !

Tom effectively was my first elmer. The day I got my ticket, he started teaching me about Packet. Tom was a great guy!
