Jimmy Binion (KI4EV)

July, 2002

Just a Short note, Jimmy Binion, KI4EV, was to me, one of the nicest people on Ham Radio, I never had the chance to meet Jimmy in person, But I did speak with Jimmy, up until 2 weeks before he passed away from Cancer. I will ALWAYS remember fondly the stories he told about working up here in Detroit and Living here in Detroit, when he was much younger. Jimmy's death left a huge void on 75 meters and 3.898 will never, ever be the same with him. His presence, voice, and humor will be missed by everyone who listens to and uses that frequency. Rest in Peace, My Friend. -Chuck K8CPA ...-.- ..
