Out of my 60 years of life, I have never had a person get so close to me in such a short of a time. Cecil had a way about him that made you want to do something back in return for him. Sure he was a NUT and loved to play pranks, but they was no harm done and some times they back fired on Cecil. I had known Cecil for abou 25 years now but just in the last 2 years of a ham that I got to know him a lot better. He didn't like to admit it, but he was a real loveing and kind person. I can't count the many of times that I talked to Cecil on his way home off from work and how he was going to smack his wife right between the eyes as soon as he got home. I know his wife Linda very well to and after I talked to her on the phone a few times, the smacking never did happen. He is and will be missed by all that knew him. I will miss my friend and most of all, my Ham Buddy WZ4V. 73s my friend. Gene Coleman
