Dale Jones (K5MM)

I first met Dale (K5MM) on the air when he was GU5CIA. Even though I did not know him in person I remember Dale giving me GU as a new country on many of the bands. That was in the late 70's. He moved to Oregon and operated as K5MM/7 and that is when I met him. I learned a great deal from Dale about contesting and Dx'ing. You will always be remembered Dale. Gud Dx! Craig, AH8DX

I also first came in contact with K5MM when he was GU5CIA. It was a real pleasure when he moved to Dallas and we got the chance to operate together at the N5AU multi-multis. He was fun guy to work with. Really a CW lover and extremely proficient. I remember being amazed that he could send CW very well with either hand!
