Lee was a good friend and fellow ham who was a great CW op as well as phone op and he loved to ragchew on 3.915 in the morings. I will miss the great qso's we had on radio and the eyeball qso's. It was a joy to listen to he and Leonard Massey WA4LM (sk) banter back and forth about 37 cents in the mornings. (Private joke on 3.915) Lee's wife Leona loved to listen to us and we will miss her third party traffic. Good bye dear friend.

Hello,
I recently acquired the call sign W4CPO. I am Dave Zelinski in Newport News, Va. and like Lee, I am also a retired Chief Petty Officer after 23 years of active duty.
It truly is an honor to know that I am sharing the call sign of a retired Chief.
