Joe, also, was our Central Division CAC representative for a
number of years. Besides going to the Indy 500 a couple of
times with Joe & Karen, Joe had passed along a lot of information
about current contesting to me as I came out of contesting
retirement. He was one of the founders of the Hoosier DXers &
Contesters Club. He certainly will be missed by Bev & I.

Joe was really active with packet cluster and contesting about 10 years ago but lately had not been active. It was a sudden thing-pneumonia and an infection. I last saw Joe about 3 months ago.
Calling on Thursday at Sterling-Gerber Funeral home at Thompson and Arlington, se Indy.
