ALFRED V. POOLER (K1ZY)

Hello this is Ken Pooler,Al was my dad He got into ham radio in the early 60's and started out as KN1ZYM then K1ZYM and then K1ZY. Al loved his ham radio for many years and was proud to be a ham optr.When I was a kid I would sit in the ham shack and watch him work the world and that was great to see the excitement in his face. One thing he never lost that no matter how many years he had been on the air. I am very proud to cary on the K1ZYM callsign in Honor of my dad and I bought some of my dads radios from my stepmother and am working the world with the Ten-Tec he enjoyed so much. He was a mentor and an elmer to many. K1ZYM-Ken
