He was a great ham. He loved playing audio with us and always sounded great. He was an asset to ham radio, and your right Matt he will be missed. God bless Dr. Joe and 73.

Dr. Joe will always be remembered and certainly missed. I first met Joe on the air back in the late 80's when I was trying to collect Collins gear. If I recall correctly Joe had a 30S1. In a casual conversation on the air, most folks would never know Joe was unable to see. Perhaps I regret most not stopping in Smithville to visit Joe when I was on my way to Austin from Baton Rouge.

Joe Juliano was a great person to know. He put up a great fight for a long time, all the while keeping his sense of humor.

Joe was a great ham but an even greater human being. He only had good things to say about people. His smile was infectious. Joe is surely now an angel. I will miss him but I have great memories to lessen the pain.
