Scott (K2ATC)

December 17, 2006

Our prayer's go out to his family and friends. Great guy to QSO with always leaving you with a laugh and smile. As he was on the air he was in person. 73 Scott and God Bless!

Scott was a very interesting fellow to chat with, either on the air or in person. He could just as easily make you cringe as chuckle. He was very knowledgeable about radio and repeater troubleshooting and was quick to offer his assistance. His death was sudden and unexpected. Scott was an active ham on his local Nassau County (NY) repeaters and his absence will be felt. It is still hard to imagine that I won't hear him chime in on the daily repeater chatter.
