John H Sampson, Jr (W7OCX)

A true A-1 Operator and gentleman. John was a great ham radio operator who specialized in handling traffic and public service. With help John founded of the Beehive Utah Net. Besides the BUN, John was very active with the TEN net and others. John had a wonderful CW fist. Besides ham radio, John served his country most honorably with a destinguished military career at the rank of colonel. I had the honor of interviewing John about his ham radio activities on radio KLO 1430 Ogden in 1975. John - W7OCX was a great ham, military leader, and gentleman.
