Bob was a good friend and encouraged me to forge ahead in Amateur Radio. I will miss his whit. Bob I have my upgrade now, to bad you aren't here.

Bob was my dad. I didn't know this site existed. Thanks and 73's to George for starting this rememberence. Now that I know of this.....this site will not be empty.
My dad was a great man. He was good at hiding grown-up problems but excellent at teaching us to avoid them. He was my only parent since ten years ago when I was 7.
I'm glad to see that this site promotes rememberences of Ham Radio operators.
My dad kept buggin me to get my license, so at 9 i became an Amatuer Radio Operator and have since only promoted my self to tech-plus.
As soon as i find one.....i'm puttin a picture of my pop here.

Hard to believe its been almost ten years now. Uncle Bob got me started in amateur radio when I was 8 and still on the air. We miss him.
