Paul Moore (KG4WLO)

February 7, 2007

Paul E. Moore, KG4WLO passed away on Wednesday, February 7th 2007 after a brief illness. Paul was a dedicated ham and a valued member of the Russell County (VA) Amateur Radio Club, Inc. Paul was a former Vice President of the club and would do anything that he could to help the club and any ham that he came in contact with. Paul really enjoyed being on the air with his ham friends and enjoyed the hobby to it's fullest. He'll be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

I had the deep honor and privledge to serve with Paul as an elected official of a local ham club. Paul was always a great sounding board for ideas and I always valued his input, which was toughtful, concise, and practical...much like the man himself. His conviction and devotion to friends ran deep and his loyalty was unshakable in the face of challenge. I will miss Paul. He was a good man whose time came and passed way, way too fast.
