Rob Carpenter (WW6G)

November 2, 2007

Rob was an active member of Sierra Foothills Radio Club. He enjoyed Ham Radio and had lectured at local club meetings on PSK-31 and other topics. A Senior Engineer at Intel, Rob left us early. He is survived by his Son (a Ham) Justin and his family. Many will remember his positive attitude, friendly personality and contributions.

I worked with Rob both in club activities, as a VE, and closest as a Technician class instructor. When we worked together we were able to exceed any goals that we had established, largely because of his broad knowledge and diligence. He was a deep thinker and a caring soul and amateur radio is better today because of his presence in the hobby. Rob is and will be missed. WW6G de W7IB sk ..
