Bob Hermann was a combat veteran of Korea. Bob must have gone through hell over there, as he never completely got over it emotionally. Bob was a regular participant in the Mt Equinox VT repeater "Conglommer Net" along with many others, including Dick, KB2FF (sk) and his beloved companion and ultimately XYL, Sonia, N2PAX.
We missed Bob for the last year or so as he lived at the Veteran's Home in Bennington Vermont, and seldom got on the air. I think that it can be fairly said that Bob was a casualty of Korea.
73 Bob, and may you now rest in peace.
