Donald (don) Smith (K2DGS)

01-07-08

Don was licensed for many years taking a long break from the radio but returning as we all do. Do was a great ham that somehow managed to spread his cheer wherever he went. He also managed to bring a smile to your face becasue he always seemed to have a great attitude and a knack of making you feel good about the day regardless. I and everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him will surely miss him. 73 and god bless our old friend Don (k2DGS from West Hempstead, LI NY)

Thank you for the kind words about my dad. I will be taking my operators test soon and hopefully will be able to get his call sign.
