Sadly the only picture I could find was taken at night in the Shoney's parking lot with Paul, where we all used to get together and eat after club functions, ect. Those were the good old days here in the New Orleans area, when HAM was pretty big here. The best thing I remember about Mike is, he always had a great joke to tell. And when Mike told a joke he drew a crowd. Everyone's ears perked up and eyeballs wide open. I don't know a single joke that Mike told that didn't make me laugh, spit my drink out, say "oooohhh", or just "that's disgusting Mike!". Mike and I shared a talent other than being a Ham. We are both photographers, and I will miss talking to Mike about photography, and boats too. I am sorry I did not get the opportunity to know the rest of Mike's family except for Scott, and I wish them all the best.

March 14 2009 Went to the Acadiana Hamfest in Lafayette today. Loaded some pictures on the computer from the hamfest. I started looking at all the pictures from years ago and came across this one. Missed you at the hamfest Mike. A picture is worth a thousand words!
