Kathy Graveen (N9MAB)

Aug 29,2002

Death: Aug. 29, 2002 Wausau Marathon County Wisconsin, USA Kathryn "KAT" Graveen was a musician, a financial wizard, a soap maker, and a loving wife/mother. She was created for the outdoors and loved to camp, ski (cross country), bike, and go for long walks with her husband of eighteen years. Kathy was born to a regular family and grew up in the city of Madison. In July of 1984 at age 22, she married her husband Quince. In the years to come, they had settled into a loving life together in Wausau. Soon after Kathryn gave birth to three sons (Daniel 1985, Adam 1987, Philip 1989), She persued a higher education. She attended the local Technical college and then went on to Upper Iowa University to study accounting. Kathy contracted Amytrothic Lateral Sclerosis in the early months of 2001. As time passed she lost more of her physical strenth and dexterity to the point when her body wouldn't allow her to go to work anymore. Finally,at the end of August 2002, after a courageous battle with ALS, Kathryn went home and found her peace. Kat was the most caring and loving mother I could have asked for. Her spirit may have gone home, but her memory stays here in my heart. Burial: Cremated, Ashes scattered. Specifically: Ashes Scattered in Idaho Small note; Two of her sons are Hams
