DAVID E. SAGAMANG (N1NMI)

On Sunday October 22nd at 14:00 ET, Dave, N1NMI went silent for the last time. Dave Sagamang, long time friend of the NCRC had passed away waiting at the hospital for a heart transplant. Survived by Doris his XYL of 43 years, one daughter, three sons and 6 grandchildren, he will be missed. Dave was first licensed in 1960 and joined the club in 1992 where he was active up until his passing. Dave was a 24 year retiree of the Navy and then a retiree from Raytheon. He had a distinguished career as a Draftsman. Dave served as corresponding secretary in the club as well as head of the committee for revising the Constitution and By-Laws of the NCRC. Dave will be missed by all. He was a good friend and “Ham”. Mike Bielecki, W1MPB, sent Dave’s final CQ over Monday’s Newport County Radio Club Net. 73 Dave, you’ll be missed!
