Friends Remembered Home | Friends Detail
George Ellsworth (K1SFC)
April 17, 2008
George was an active ham until his passing. I heard him on 2 meter SSB one or two nights before.
I used to work him almost every night back in the late 60s when I was a new ham. He was always on 2 meter AM in those days. He was very gracious, friendly and patient with the newcomers. He even sold me one of his home brew transmitters. As I recall it ran all of 30 watts- A big upgrade from my "Twoer"
73 George and thanks for the good times
