I knew Gregg as my 'elmer' and good friend. He was always willing and humble about helping new and old hams get on the air, voluntering to help put up an antenna, tune or fix a radio, volunteer work during hurricanes, and katrina help. I got a mfj tuner from him, soldering iron ect. but more important, I had the pleasure of his friendship, humor, advice, good pistol shooter, and gunsmith. he could never get the code, but had the electronics part down and was veryknowageble.
