Mike Baptist (N3NVF)
November 19, 2007
Mike N3NVF was diagnosed with cancer in the Fall of 2007. He went to be with the Lord just after celebrating his his 52nd birthday. He had been a ham for over 15 years and was founding member of the Winchester Amateur Radio Society.
Mike had a broad spectrum of friends, both on and off the air, local and abroad.
He was active on 75 meters and up, and participated in many Field Days (photo is FD2001).
Please keep his son, Aaron, in your prayers.

It's been almost a year and I still can't believe you're gone. I swear not a week goes by when I don't see something and say to myself, "damn, I wish Baptist was still around. He'd find this amusing." I can't count the number of times in the last year when I've wanted to call you on the phone.
One of the greatest guys I've ever known.
