Tom Higginson (GW3AHN)
21 May 2008
I was very sad to learn that Tom's key became silent. Tom has always been one of the best amateur radio I have ever talked to on the radio. His station was a simple one; no amplifiers, no huge antennas, most of his equipment was home made and yet he achieved the apex of the DXCC Honor Roll many years ago. Under his suggestions, I built an X Beam antenna for 20 meters that I used for a few years, adding a few more countries to my total.
I will miss Tom and his unique voice very much: certainly a milestone in my memories that I'll never forget.
Ciao Tom

Tom got in my log a number of times with low power and QRP over the years. RIP Tom.
